Little known facts…

  1. I’m within 6 months of being married to my best friend for 25 years.
  2. I have 2 wonderfully different children; Johnathan and Nicholas
  3. My favorite color is Teal- aqua marine
  4. My favorite animal as a child was a turtle
  5. My favorite number is 7
  6. When I was little I wanted to be a teacher
  7. When I was a toddler, my mom created my Halloween costumes for me.  One year I was a TV set.  Another year I was a pear.  Yet another year I was a knight in shining armor.
  8. I love playing scrabble
  9. I really enjoy many different hobbies.
  10. I love to paint and decorate houses for my husbands train display.
  11. I have made several of the wall hangings in my bathroom and in my hallway.
  12. I love using power tools; especially when they make my husband nervous!  😀
  13. I enjoy hiking and finding waterfalls
  14. I love wood working
  15. I like to crochet
  16. I like to cross stitch
  17. One of my desks is actually in the closet in the tv room (long closet with no door) so while my husband is watching tv I can simultaneously spend time with my him while playing with one of my assorted hobbies.
  18. When my husband eats trail mix… he leaves some of the peanuts, and all of the chocolate and peanut butter morsels… but eats all the mms and raisins.

  21. I have to have a quiet time without white or other noise in the mornings when I first get up and I need it as my day begins to close but before my husband comes home and turns the tv on to decompress from his day

  23. When I get my nails done, I like a French manicure with a color instead of the white for the tips.  I also like to have a splash of silver or gold or sparkles to add a bit of excitement to the nails.

  25. I grew up listening to Amy Grant, Sandy Patti, Joni Erickson Tada, Petra, and Stryper (music)
  26. I remember being excited when I was able to earn my very first instant Polaroid camera after selling enough items for school
  27. I loved my first record players for hours on end
  28. I was a teenager (first year of high school) when they came out with Walkmans, and I was so excited when I got my first one for Christmas
  29. I never graduated from high school
  30. I received my GED from Wake Community College
  31. I received 3 associate degrees in 2 years from Edgecombe Community College
  32. I was Phi Theta Capps during my 2 year degrees
  33. I was on the SGA as Treasureer my last year at Edgecombe Community College
  34. I received my bachelors degree from North Carolina Wesleyan College
  35. I have completed the coursework for 2 Master Degrees and 1 certification at Liberty University
  36. My undergrad was in Accounting and Business while my master degrees were in professional counseling and marriage and family therapy with a certificate in trauma therapy
  37. I love to play 🏐 volleyball
  38. I was bit by a dog in the face when I was 8 years old.  It took many reconstructive surgeries to try to make the scars as small as possible
  39. When I was young, I had a nightmare that I refused to talk about or go outside during the summer if my entire family was home and outside by the vehicles because I was scared it would come true
  40. I love “Home Improvement” and now “Last Man Standing”
  41. I met my husband in Maple Shade New Jersey
  42. I have lived in New Jersey and North Carolina
  43. Although I spent quite a bit of time in labor with my first child (went to hospital 3am and TJ arrived at 11:07am, my 2 other children had quick arrivals.  Both Johnathan and Nick came maybe a half hour after I arrived at the hospitals.
  44. My favorite foods are shrimp and lasagna
  45. I love the snow
